Justin Bergh releases new single

SAMA nominated singer songwriter Justin Bergh is back with Miss You, the new self-penned single that has been put together by multiple award-winning producer Brian O’Shea. The soft rock track showcases Bergh’s highly acclaimed abilities as a prolific songwriter and vocalist whilst at the same time is brought to 2012 with modern elements of production that give this ballad an additional edge.

“The English music market is incredibly competitive and local artists are up against many international artists for a spot on the play list and it made sense for me to uplift a great track with production by one of the country’s best producers,” said Bergh, whose hits include Love The Sinner, Not The Sin, Here With You, Out Of My Hands and Miss America, “I am very excited about this song and with the addition of Brian’s production magic, I am sure that it will go down well.”

Justin Bergh shot to fame in 2000 with his debut album Love The Sinner and the hit No Ordinary World featured on the Big Brother soundtrack. His following album Out of My Hands received a SAMA nomination in 2003. Justin performed the South African National Anthem to 85,000 rugby fans at Twickenham in 2006. His song Special was used by American Cable Giant Showtime to advertise their satellite Network in 2007 and he was personally invited by the now Princess of Monaco to perform at her 30th birthday in 2008. Justin toured South Africa as Bryan Adams’ support act in 2010.


JUSTIN BERGH EXPANDS SONG WRITING CAPABILITIES TO AFRIKAANS MARKET

SAMA nominated singer songwriter Justin Bergh has expanded his talent and will be collaborating with Afrikaans artists to co-write new material with them. The first collaboration is with 2010 Idols top 5 finalist Adeline Mocke on her debut single, Stukkies, which is currently on radio rotation.

“I have been following trends in Afrikaans music for quite a while and after following Adeline in last year’s Idols and meeting her in person, her special presence and enthusiastic vision urged me to take the leap and expand my song writing capabilities into this market,” said Justin Bergh, who has a strong track record for writing excellent songs for some of his well-known hits including Love The Sinner, Not The Sin, No Ordinary World, Here With You and Out Of My Hands. “I am very excited about collaborating with artists in the Afrikaans sphere and really look forward to putting together some great melodies and lyrics with them.”

JUSTIN BERGH TO PERFORM AT ZULA SOUND BAR, CAPE TOWN

SAMA nominated singer songwriter Justin Bergh will be performing with his band at Zula Sound Bar, Cape Town on Thursday 12 August 2010 at 21h30.

Justin recently launched his long awaited album Inside Out and his single Miss America is currently spinning on national radio stations. He recently opened for legendary singer Bryan Adams on his tour of Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.

Justin will be performing alongside Cape Town band Hey Mister. The show kicks off at 20h00 and the door charge is R30.

South African singer songwriter Justin Bergh launches his anticipated third album “Inside Out” at Wembley Square, Cape Town on Wednesday 9 June 2010 from 17h30. Justin will be performing an acoustic set of tracks from the album, including the first single “Special” and his latest chart hit “Miss America”, penned by international recording artist Bryan Adams. “Inside Out” will be available digitally at Nokia Music Store from 7 June 2010.
